Let me just start by saying these Baked & Seasoned Crispy Tortilla Strips were my absolute favorite part about working at my family’s restaurant. They have the perfect crispy texture and super versatile seasoning. They make any soup/salad pop, and are a delicious snack! My favorite way to eat them though is in a bowl all by themselves. They add a delicious crunch to anything they garnish and are ridiculously easy to make.

Gather tortilla strips in a bowl and lightly coat them with corn oil or olive oil, then toss to see that oil is evenly distributed on each slice.
Measure season salt and garlic powder and sprinkle on coated tortillas, toss again so that seasonings are blended evenly.
Lay strips on a baking sheet so that none are overlapping. This will ensure that they get nicely toasted and crispy! Bake at 300° for about 10 minutes or until tortillas have turned to a delicious light golden brown color. Leave them to cool on baking sheet and that's it! They're ready to serve!
