Soft Garlic Herb Naan Bread

prep ingredients & activate yeast with warm water, + milk, & sugar

add flour to mixing bowl (but reserve ½ a cup), activated yeast mixture, fresh herbs, yogurt, flaky sea salt, olive oil, and minced garlic

Add in remaining flour one spoonful at a time with stand mixer on the lowest speed setting. If dough is too tacky to work with, spoon in a little extra flour.

Remove dough from mixing bowl and roll into ball by hand. It's okay if it seems a little bit tacky. Shape the dough by hand into a large ball.

Coat mixing bowl with drizzle of olive oil. Place dough in bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Set aside in warm area. Let it rise for 1 hour.

Divide dough in equal portions and roll it out on a clean lightly greased work surface

Coat preheated cast iron skillet  with olive oil. Do not flip naan until you see bubbles starting to form (just like cooking pancakes!)

Serve hot!
